The Norma] School OIJ Pupils’ Association was to have held an executive meeting in the Public Library Hall last evening, but. owing to a misunderstanding, there was a clash of engagements and the meeting had to be postponed. The meeting will be held on Mondav evening, time and place to be advertised later in the week. To-night at the Radiant Hall the Christchurch Orchestral Society will present the final concert for the 1983 season. The orchestra has been rehearsing diligently under the oonductorship of Mr Alfred Buriz, and the programme to be presented surpasses anything that has been attempted by it In the past. The box plan is now filling rapidly and patrons are advised to make early application •at the Bristol for their To-morrow night’s song and piano recital at the Jellicoe Hall promises to be an event of great interest to tire musical public, for the two artists. Frederick Bullock (baritone) and Ernest Jenner (piano) will present a programme of treat music, including song groups by Brahms and Wolff, and piano works bv Glazounov and ltnvW. A point of interest is the inclusion of works that are probably new to Fhrlstchurch audiences: ('asi.ltmovo - Tedescos Shak'-speare sengs. Erich Wolff's lie.dor and Ravel's descriptive “A 1 bora do del Grazloso.”
