At a meeting of the Garden Allotments Committee held yesterday, the garden competition for the unemployed came up for discussion. It was stated that prospects for a good competition were bright. An impression prevailed among many of the unemployed that only relief workers who had bought seeds through the committee were eligible for the competition, but this was incorrect as the competition was for all registered unemployed. Entries will close with the secretary on December 9.
