The ladies’ committee of the Linwood Avenue School held a successful coin afternoon in St George's Hall recently. Musical items were given by Mesdames Empson, Boocock, Ledsham and Taylor, and recitations by Mrs Windsor. Mrs F. Smith was accompanist. Afternoon tea was served bv members of the committee and friends.
