POLICY ANNOUNCED.
New French Cabinet Likely to Survive Vote. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received November 4, 12.20 p.m.) PARIS, November 3. M. Sarraut has announced a stabilisation policy, including substantial, immediate', economic reforms, a war on tax-dodgers, alleviation of heavy taxation in order to lower production costs, extensive public works, the development of motor transport, the protection of industry, the continuation of the quota system without preferences —except for a quid pro quo—development of the colonial markets and international collaboration. France will continue her disarmament work on the basis of the agreement with Britain, to which specially friendly reference is made. The new Cabinet seems destined to survive the vote on the declaration of its policy, but its further existence depends on its financial proposals and foreign policy, though a crucial vote is not expected until after the German elections.
