DISPUTE OVER RADIO.

Judgment Given for Defendant. After a hearing extending over three and a half days the Magistrate, Mr H. A. Young, gave judgment for defendant with costs, in a civil case in which A. R. Harris Co., Ltd., Gloucester Street, claimed £3B ISs lid from Mrs R. M. Dixon. On a counter claim judgment was also given for Mrs Dixon for £B2 18s lid. The plaintiff company alleged that £3B 18s lid represented the loss suffered by the company because of the failure of defendant, a saleswoman, to disclose the true facts concerning the disposal of three radio sets. Mrs Dixon counter-claimed for £94 6s 7d, made up of £Bl 0s 7d for the use of her car in the company’s business and £l3 6s as salary in lieu of two week’s holiday. Mr Hobbs represented the company and Mr Sargent appeared for Mrs Dixon. In giving judgment the Magistrate said that he was not satisfied the company' had sustained any damage through the action of defendant.
