Mrs Burns and Miss Taylor will play off in conjunction with Saturday’s Christchurch Ladies’ Club. A bogey match was played at Shirley yesterday. The winner in the silver medal divisiofi was Mrs A. E. Barker and in the bronze medal division Mrs A. B. Jones. The following were the best scores:— Hdcp. The final of the Richmond Hill ladies’ senior championship was played over thirtv-six holes on Tuesday, the finalists being Miss Z. Hudson and Miss M. M’Callum. The match proved interesting, going to the thirty-fourth green, where Miss Hudson won. Both contestants played consistently good golf in the morning and finished all square. Miss Hudson taking 42 for the first nine holes and Miss M’Callum 41, while each took 42 for the second half. In the afternoon Miss Hudson, by returning 39 to Miss M’Callum’s 42, secured a lead of 2 up at the turn, and though the latter fought gamely she was occasionally short with her putts and the match finished 3 and 2 in Miss Hudson's favour.
