Poolta Loading for East Coast. There was little activity on the Lyttelton waterfront to-day. The only vessels in port were the Rangatira and Poolta, the latter loading for East Coast ports. OPIHI has been delayed and is not now expected to arrive at Lyttelton until Tuesday, instead of Sunday, The vessel will load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. STORM is due on Saturday from the south to load for Wellington and Wanganui. GALE is timed to load here on Wednesday next for Wellington, Pieton and Wanganui. TITOKI. from Gisborne, is, expected on Saturday with a load of sheep. On discharging her live stock she will proceed to Dunedin and Timaru to commence loading for Napier, Gisborne and Tauranga.
WAIMARINO should return on Tuesday from Bluff, via Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru, to load for Wellington and Auckland. WINGATUt is due at Lyttelton on Tuesday to discharge general Auckland cargo. MAUI POM ARK is expected to leave Wellington on Tuesday for Niue Island and Apia. The vessel will load at the Islands for Lyttelton and Wellington, and is dut* at Lytetlton on October 30. KTA ORA, from Timaru, will call at Lyttelton on October 27, to load for London. RANGITIKI, from London via Wellington, is due here on October 30. PUNT ADRIFT. The Marine Department advises that a report has been received from New' Plymouth stating that a punt, 18ft long; and 12ft in beam, had drifted to sea from Mokau. It was last seen about three miles off Awakino. A LOG AT SEA. The master of the steamer Storm, Captain Williams, reports that on Tuesday morning he sighted a log 30ft long and 2ft in diameter approximately ten mites east of Motunau, North Canterbury. FEBSOHAL.
