Prices Remain Firm at . Sydney. SYDNEY, October 3. At the wool sales to-day, 11,326 bales were offered and 10,332 sold, while 960 bales were sold privately. The Japanese and Continental sections operated strongly, and the market continued firm, with prices unchanged at last week's levels. Satisfactory clearances were effected. Greasy merino made up to 21d for six bales from Boomi. The average price of wool at Sydney last week was £l7 3s 6d per bale, or 13d per lb. in the previous week, the average price per bale was £lB 11s 9d, and per lb 14.1 d.
