WAIHI GOLDFIELD.
Geophysical Survey May be Made. Per Press Association. WAIHI, August 26. Dr J. Henderson, Director of Geological Survey, and Dr E. Marsden, secretary of the Department of Scientific anrl Industrial Research, arrived in Waihi to-day for the purpose of conferring with officials of the Waihi Gold Mining Company on the question of making a geophysical sur\-ey of the Waihi goldfield, including the Waihi and Grand Junction areas.
