AMATEUR BOXING.
Officials for Champions Hip Meeting. Per Frees Association. WELLINGTON, July 25. The New Zealand Boxing: Council at a meeting: to-night appointed Me P. H. Donoghue, honorary Instructor to the Miramar Boxing Club, to be trainer of the New Zealand boxing team which will visit Brisbane after the New Zealand championships. The council appointed the following officials for the New Zealand championships which will be held at Blenheim on September 7, 8 and 9:—Referee*-, Messrs N. M’LAean (Auckland), L. Cotter (Blenheim) and A. K. Tall (Invercargill) ; judges. North Island—Messrs A. Curtayne (Wellington) and D. Newbegln (Hastings), South Island; Messrs R. Fulcher (Dunedin) and W. EL Mouldey (Christchurch). Hawke’s Bay Team. Per Press Association. HASTINGS. August 25. Hawke s Bay boxing representatives for the New Zealand championships are:—Boyle, fly-weight; Robinson, bantam-weight; Donkin, feather-weight; Wyllie, light-weight.
