WINTER SHOW.

When this year’s Winter Show and Exhibition opens in the King Edward Barracks next Saturday, a wide range of new attractions will be presented for the entertainment of visitors. Every day there will be a free competition with a first prize of £1 and a second of ten shillings for the nearest estimate of the attendance for that day. A monster tug-of-war championship will be conducted during the evenings of August 8, 12, It; and 19. The annual rabbit show aTso lias attracted widespread interest. The musical programme has been extended this year, and better provision made for the side shows. Day and night, this year's Winter Show and Exhibition will provide exceptionally good entertainment for everybody.
