HOUSE ENTERED.

A few packets of cigarettes were the only things taken by the thief who entered the combined shop and dwelling of Mr Robert Jones, of 15, Bristol Street, St Albans, late on Saturday evening. The thief broke a pane of glass in the front door of the shop, opened the door and walked through into the house. The broken pane of glass was discovered when Mr Jones returned home shortly before midnight.
