EXCITEMENT IN ST ALBANS. Great excitement was caused in a St Albans home to-day. Mrs R. Brown, 21, Chevron Street, who had been shopping at Hay’s, Ltd., Gloucester Street, had been let into a secret and shown some of the os bargain specials which will be offered to-morrow and Friday. Mrs Brown, who was in the mantel Department at the time, was so excited with the blazers, bridge coats, and other things the assistant showed her that she vowed she would be there at 9 a.m. Hurrying home she passed on the news to her family. Now all are keeping a sharp look-out for the lists in the morning paper. If Dad’s not quick he won’t get the paper first to-morrow ! 6
