Moffett, Invercargill, returned home on Saturday from a visit to Miss Helen Buckham, Merivale Lane. Mr and Mrs W. L. Cunningham, Dipton, Southland, are visiting Christchurch. Mr and Mrs John Merewether, Christchurch, are staying with Mrs Orton, Timaru. Mrs Hugh Houghton, Glynn Wye, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs A. F. Morrison, Merivale Lane. Mrs G. Hickmott, who has been staying in Timaru. has returned to Christchurch. Mrs A. Edwards, Woodend, left on Saturday for Wellington to attend the conference of the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union. Misses Janet Stevenson and Helen Buchanan. Fendalton, and Miss Janice Overton. Scargill, will leave this month to spend a holiday in Gisborne as the guests of Mrs Richard Barker. Miss Dorothy Camm, Heaton Street, will leave on Thursday for Wellington and Sydney, en route for London, where her marriage will take place. Her future home will be at YYickrost, Reading. ________
