BRIDGE PARTY.
University Women Hold Gathering. A bridge party was held by the Canterbury Association of the New Zealand Federation of University Women on Saturday evening. Nearly one hundred players filled the women’s common room and the reading room of the Students’ Union building at Canterbury College. The rooms were decorated with spring flowers. The members of the committee who arranged the evening were Miss Marion Wilkinson (secretary), Mesdames B. C. Penny and C. E. W. Wacher, Misses Marion Reece, Olive Talbot and Millicent Kennedy.
