TAI TAPU W.D.F.U.

The monthly meeting of the Tai Tapu and districts branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Ladbrooks Hall. Mrs Fiecken presided. One new member was welcomed. Miss Havelaar wrote asking for assistance in her work for the relief of distress, and children's garments were distributed to be made up. An invitation to attend a social on July 18 was received from the Motukarara branch. It was decided to hold the annual social next month. Mr J. Humm, of Christchurch, gave a lecture on “ The General Culture of Flowers.”
