LAWN TENNIS CLUB MEETS.
A general meeting of the Upper Riccarton Domain Tennis Club was held In the Memorial Public Library on Thursday evening. Mr L. Cade presided over an attendance of thirty members. Mr C. Harrow (acting-secretary) was also present. It was unanimously decided to hold social functions during the next few months, with the object of raising funds for the erection of a pavilion and repairs to the courts. The following Social Committee was set up: Misses P. Davison, T. Stephenson. P. Murphy, M. Purvis, E. Rountree, D. Rose and Z. Rattray, Messrs R. Lane. R. Martin, K. Calder, C. Harrow, TT. Purvis, A. Bean, L. Stephenson and A. Mackay. The first social evening, which will be held shortly, will be a flag -500 evening.
