THE COMPETITIONS.

Such a Large Batch of Work. Crowds and crowds of entries, and Jack Frost si tiling as he read the quaint stories about himself! Poems were marked by lack of originality, though Dorothy Stanton had a good theme not sufficiently worked out. Nola Mansfield’s idea was a fanciful one which could have been improved further in the working. Drawings were on the whole good, better than expected, and if Mrs Frost cooks some of those piping hot dinners for Jack Frost, the spring will very soon be here! A further batch of the competition entries will be printed next Saturday and Jack Frost has decided to again edit the Page next Saturday. Look out for your nose, tiddely-pom! Look out for your toes, tiddely-pom! I'm coming, turn te turn! Jack Frost.
