MUSICAL AFTERNOON.
Opawa-St Martins Plunket Society. Mrs Frank Egan lent her beautiful home ‘‘The Oaks,” Ensor’s Road, Opawa, for a musical afternoon yesterday in aid of the funds of the OpawaSt Martins sub-branch of the Plunket Society. The living rooms were decorated with bowls of lovely mixed flowers, and vases of early violets and freezias. The hostess wore a smart frock of spring green Bedford cord, a close-fit-ting felt hat in the same shade and white furs. Members of the committee provided a delicious afternoon tea. Musical Programme. An enjoj-able musical programme, arranged by Mrs Frank Egan and Mrs J. Tait, was given as follows:—Musical monologues, Miss Doris Webb; songs, Miss Lily Hanliam; piano solo, Miss Kathleen Cassidy; songs, Mrs Tristram Willcox; violin solos, Miss Joan Ormerod; sketch. Miss Nance Alexander; songs, Mr Noel Smith; songs, Miss Julie Russell. Miss Edith Ford and Miss Doris Webb played the accompaniments. The Quests. Among those present present were:Mesdames J.
