SOMERFIELD PIGEON CLUB.

The S-omerfleld Racing Pigeon Club held a show for members, when a record » entry of over sixty birds was benched in . six classes for Dr A. C. M’Killop to Judge. After awarding the prizes Dr M’Killop addressed the members, expressing his appreciation of many of the birds exhibited, and the members were grateful for the good advice they received. The prizes were awarded as follows:—Blue or black chequer cock, R. Blackmore 1, A. Walker 2, F. Gray 3. Blue or black chequer hen, A. King 1 and best bird in show. R. Blackmore 2, F. Gray 3. Red or mealie cock, R. Blackmore 1, \V. Wrigln 2. R. Williams 3. Red or mealie lien, A. King 1, R. Hales 2, C. Britten 3. Pied cock, S. Wright 1 and 3, Fry Bros. 2. Pied hen, F. Ockwell 1. R. Blackmore 2. A. Walker 3. The final show of the series, for placed birds only, as a championship, will be held on July 22, at 7 p.m.
