SPACE AT SHOW.
Better Position Sought by Disabled Soldiers. The question of a better position for the disabled returned soldiers’ stand at the coming Winter Show was discussed at a meeting of the Canterbury' Disabled Soldiers’ Civil Re-establish-ment Committee this morning. Mr W. E. Leadlev, the secretary, said that last year the stand had been tucked out of the way' in a back lane. Mr J. Murphy, a member of the committee, and also of the Space Committee for the show, said that he did not think that there would be any trouble in securing a better stand. There was more space at the show this year because the Agricultural and Pastoral Association was not exhibiting. The manufacturers were sympathetic towards the disabled soldiers and their work, and in all probability' the stand would be given free of cost.
