ATTACK ON EVEREST.

Attempts Abandoned in the Meantime. LONDON, June 8. The Bangkok correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says that the Mount Evest climbers are abandoning temporarily their attempts on the summit. Another four days of fine weather are necessary to establish themselves in Camp 6, and the climbers are unlikely to be equal to the effort, even if the weather is unexpectedly better. It is officially stated that they may remain in the higher camps for the duration of the monsoon, but those acquainted with the Himalayas consider that this is impossible, as blizzards may isolate the camps for days.
