Mr Ramsay MacDonald Pays Tribute. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, June 7. Mr Ramsay MacDonald, the Prime Minister, when opening the AngloPalestine Exhibition in London, paid a tribute to the great services which the Jewish people had rendered to progress in science, in art, in politics, and to civilisation generall}*. Recalling his experiences during his visit to Palestine, Mr MacDonald referred to the remarkable efforts of all classes in building a national home for the Jewish people. lie said he agreed with Lord Reading, who presided over the gathering, that the future of the people of Palestine depended on loyal understanding and co-operation between the Jews and Arabs.
