The " Manchester Guardian ” says that close study by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce reveals that Japanese competition in the Australian market is very alarming. Australia at present is Lancashire’s second biggest market. A special committee has compiled exhaustive and constructive reports, which are being conveyed to the Government.
