TEACHERS OUT OF WORK.

Position Acute in Auckland Province. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. May 3. The chairman of the Auckland Education Board reported to-day that unemployment among teachers was even more acute than in previous years. At the beginning of the second term there would be 503 ex-students in the Training College not permanently employed. and of these 217 had temporary'- employment as relieving teachers. Those who had been temporarily employed for the whole of the current term would be replaced next term by others.
