Mr and Mrs A H. C. Orr will leave to-night for Wellington and Sydney. Miss Hodgson. Heathcote, is the guest of . Mrs B. Line, Little River. Mr and Mrs F Pooley, Ravensbourne, Dunedin, are the guests of Mrs W. B. Rout, Little River.
Miss D. Doyle, Lyttelton, is the guest of Mrs A. Shadbolt. Okuti Valley, Little River.
The Misses Griffiths. Barrington Street, Christchurch, are the guests of Mrs C. Dutton, Little River.
Miss Denderah Rhodes and Miss Sylvia Orbell, Timaru, are staying with Mrs E J. Cordner, Rossall Street. Professor and Mrs F. Sinclaire, Fendalton, returned home to-day from a holiday spent at Arthur Pass. Mrs J. H. Grigg, Longbeach, will be the guest of Mrs John Montgomery for the golf tournament this week. Miss Prue Wynn-Williams, St Albans, will leave this evening on a holiday visit to Auckland.
Miss Diana Allen, The Mill House, Fendalton, intends to leave next month on a trip to England. Mr and Mrs C. N. Draper, Dunedin, who have been staying in Christchurch, returned home yesterdaj’-. Miss Sheila Atkinson, “ Woodbank,” Hanmer Springs, is staying with her grandmother, Mrs W. Atkinson, Fendalton.
Mrs J. Mowbray Tripp, Silverton, Woodbury, who has been in Christchurch fqr the races, returned home yesterday. Captain and Mrs C. M. Renaut, who have been spending a holiday in Wellington, returned to Christchurch yesterday. Mrs Allan Matson, Rossall Street, has returned home from Invercargill, where she has been staying for the MatsonSnow wedding. Mr and Mrs Carlyon Rickman, who were the guests of Mrs Robert Pashby, Hillside, Rangiora, have returned to Oamaru.
Mrs J, F. Dawson, Lowland Leas, Fernside, has returned home after spending a holiday with friends in Christchurch.
Misses Mary and Anne Craddock are spending the Easter vacation with their parents, Mr and Mrs C. Craddock, Little River.
Miss Margaret Hill, Papanui, who has been the guest of Mrs Peter M’Auliffe, Western Valley, Little River, has returned home.
Mr and Mrs Derek Studholme, Coldstream, w'ho have been visiting Mr and Mrs John Studholme, Middleton Grange, returned home yesterday. Mrs Clark, Miss Rita Clark (Christchurch), Mr and Mrs Manchester (Fen- . dal tod), Mrs Smythe and Miss G. Smythe (Christchurch) are guests at Godley House, Diamond Harbour. Mr and Mrs Clifford Watkins, Gisborne, who have been the guests of Mrs A. Watkins, Puaha, Little River, have left for Christchurch, where they will make their home.
