Two Hops in One Day. LANDS AT ALEPPO, BESTS AND FLIES ON. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received April 12, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, April 11. Miss Jean Batten, the Auckland girl who is flying from Britain to Australia, arrived at Aleppo from Athens at 12.30 and left for Baghdad at 4.30 in the afternoon. She took off from Athens for Aleppo at 3.40 a.m. to-day. Miss Batten completed the second hop of her flight yesterday when she flew from Rome to Athens. She hopes to fly 1000 miles daily, even beating Mrs Amy Mollison’s time.
