ROUND THE DANCES.

A hot cross bun carnival will be held in the Winton Street Hall on Thursday next. Confetti, snowballs and streamers will add to the fun. The Mai Moa Ladies’ Cricket Club dance will be held in the New Regent Hall, corner of Colombo and Tuani Streets, on Monday night. The Athletes’ Dance Assembly will meet to-night in the Argonaut Hall. Competitions wilt include the Monte Carlo, lucky spot and lucky snowball. A dance will be held at Frascati on Easter Wednesday, April 19. Seymour’s Orchestra will supply the music. Dancers are very enthusiastic about the new dancing floor at the Scottish Society’s Hall. Another dance will be held in rlie ball to-night, the programme including new and old numbers. Don White is M.C. at the popular dance held in the Hibernian Hall. A special reduction is made for all couples arriving before 8.15. The Lancashire Society will hold a grand dance social in the Automobile Rooms on Tuesday next. Duckworth’s De Luxe Orchestra will play for the dancing. Several items will be given. At the Dorothy Hall to-night the Scottish Pipe Band will hold their assembly, featuring a benedicts’ ball. The usual lucky spot, miniature and Monte Carlo competitions will take place. The Flvans-Campbell Band will supply the music and Mr W. Hall will be M.C. On Monday evening, at the Caledonian Hall, the select old-time dance will be held. Cash prizes and concessions will be awarded lucky spot and Monte Carlo winners. The Evans-Campbell Band will be in attendance, and the gallery will be open for spectators. An old-time dance will be held at the Dorothy Hall next Wednesday evening. Lucky spot and Monte Carlo dances will be held. The Evans-Campbell Band will supply the music. A shilling modern dance will be held on Wednesday next at the Ferry Road Hall, when Les Moody’s Denza Band will supply the music. This evening and Tuesday next the Christchurch Old-time Dance Assembly will hold its popular old-time dances at the Ferry Road Hall. The Mitchell - Bradford Band will supply the music, and special novelties will be introduced.
