R. S. Weir Wins Lincoln Club’s Road Race.
The Lincoln Cycling Club held a thirteen miles road race this afternoon, starting and finishing at Lincoln. Ron Weir (scratch) conceded a limit of 6min to L. R. Thomas. Weir picked up R. Slack and P. Duffy (Greymouth) (30sec) early in the race, and with four miles to go was only half a minute behind Thomas. Duffy was dropped when half the distance had been covered.
