HINTS TO BRUNETTES.

This season the brunette has unlimited opportunities with the many hues of grey that are so modish. To the dark brown hair and olive complexion, the cold slate greys and warm dark-bluish greys are indeed flattering, and a clever note is struck if all grey accessories take the place of the usual brown and black varieties. Reds must be discouraged by brunettes because of the completely obvious quality of the colour. It detracts and does not add to appearance. For evening and sports attire no colour is so distinctive for the brunette as white. No blonde, no matter how beautiful, can look as well as a brunette in a white satin gown. A tricky shade is green, so a brunette should only use the chartreuse tones that employ much yellow, as that will add to their dark hair and eyes. Other colours suitable are pale blue, sapphire blue, yellow, beige, brown, and dusty faded pink.
