VERY IMPORTANT.

Painting for Easter Eggs.

Instead of our usual painting study this week, you will find a painting on the opposite page, supplied by the Farmers’ Co-operative Association store. There are six glorious Easter eggs made by Aulsebrook's as prizes,, ranging in value from 7s 6d downwards. All Starlets under eighteen years may compete, and allowance for age will be made. Each entry must have your name, address and age clearly stated. Entries close with Aunt Hilda next Wednesday, April 12, and the judging will be executed at Bpm. on April 15. In the event of prizewinners living at a distance, the Easter eggs will be posted. Now where is that 7s 6d egg travelling to? Shall some lucky Coast Starlet have the joy of munching it? Or will it be broken by the eager fingers of a city boy or girl? All try hard. Marks and laurels will also be awarded on the same effort, in addition to the Easter Eggs. Get your paints and begin it straight away.—A.H.
