THEFT OF POULTRY.

Birds Valued at £BOO are Missing. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 8. Detectives are investigating a series of thefts which in the last few weeks have resulted in about £BOO worth of poultry disappearing from Remuera. The poultry belonged to Mrs J. A. B. Hellaby, whose birds are amongst the most valuable in the Southern Hemisphere. In all 265 pullets are missing, valued at £3 each.
