Study of Meteors.

The director of the meteor section of the New Zealand Astronomical Society (Mr R. A. M’lntosh) wants details of any meteors seen by people in any parts of New Zealand. “ The occurrence of bright meteoric objects is of great interest to scientists, as providing clues to a number of problems,” he says. “ The meteor section of the New Zealand Astronomical Society is particularly pleased to receiye observations of such objects. May I appeal to any who saw the recent daylight meteor to get in touch with me, so that the full details may be examined and put on record.”
