SLOW RECOVERY.

Lady Alice Fergusson’* Injury. Per I’resa Association. WELLINGTON, April 6. In a letter dated February, which was received by the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, this week from Mr James Fergusson, the eldest son pf Sir Charles Fergusson, contains news that the Lady Alice Fergusson, who met with a motor accident in December last, is making satisfactory progress towards recovery and, at the time of writing, was able to leave her room.* In view, however, of the serious nature of the accident, her medical advisers do not expect the Lady Alice to be completely restored to health for some months. Sir Charles, who, at the time of the accident, was in the West Indies, acting as Chairman of a Royal Commission, was expected to return to England in March on the completion of the Commission’s investigations.
