BALLOT BEING TAKEN.

Canterbury Unemployed Workers. A ballot to select a secretary and an executive for the newly formed Canterbury Unemployed Workers’ Association is at present being conducted, and will be completed next Friday. Eleven nominations have been received for seven vacancies on the executive. The association is the organisation that has been formed as a result of the recent decision of the Relief Workers’ Association and the Unemployed Workers’ Movement to amalgamate.
