Two Killed in Effort to Avoid Death. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 18, 5 p.m.) CALCUTTA, March 18. An extraordinary flying accident occurred at Ambala yesterday, when two persons were killed and two injured. A Royal Air Force officer, R. Young, and Aircraftsman Parr were carrying out dummy machine-gun practice on the racecourse when an Indian woman carrying a child appeared in front of the target as the machine swooped. The pilot attempted to avoid them, but crashed, killing the child and seriously injuring the woman. Young was killed and Parr was taken to hospital.
