(Special to the “ Star.*’) TIMARU, March 17. An inquest was held in the Courthouse this afternoon, before the Coroner (Mr A. L. Gee), into the circumstances of the death of an infant, Nellie Patricia Goodman, aged four months, who was found dead in her pram at her parents’ home at the Levels this morning. _ . . Constable Paul, of Pleasant Point, conducted the inquiry for the police. A verdict that the child died of syncope due to an enlargement of the thyroid gland was returned by the Coroner. .
