United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 9. The Navy Estimates for the current y r ear amount to £53.570,000. £3.093,000 above last year. New Zealand’s contribution to the Singapore Base is £72,000. The memorandum of the First Lord of the Admiralty', Sir Eyres Monscil, says that all submarines are now equipped with Davis apparatus enabling crews to escape independently- of salvage appliances. He hopes shortly' to renew the interchange of ships with the Royal Australian Navy, which had been suspended for financial reasons.
