COLLEGE HOUSE.
First Meeting Held by Association. The first meeting of the College House Association was held on Monday evening, when the new Principal, the Rev SParr presided. The House stood in silence as a mark of respect to the late Mr J. Armstrong, a former Houseman, who was killed recently in an Air Force crash in England. The election of officers resulted:—Head student, Mr R. M. Simmers: secretary, Mr D. M. Taylor; assistant secretary, Mr T. E. Easterfield: treasurer, Mr R. S. Duncan; editor of "The House,” Mr J. P. Glasgow; assistant editors, Messrs D. N. Taylor, A. P Thompson; business managers of ‘‘The House,” Messrs J. Nicolson. West-Wat-son; producers of revue item, Messrs J. Nicolson, A. H. Andrews. The following sports captains were elected:—Football, A. H. Andrews: vice-captain, R. M. Simmers: lawn tennis, R. S. Duncan: cricket, A. H. Andrews: running, H. G Norris: swimming. R. M. Simmers.
