“HELLO, HAPPINESS.”
Bright, and Fast-moving Revue at Theatre Royal.
George Wallace and Ella Shields now hold sway at the Theatre Royal in another bright and fast-moving entertainment, ** Hello, Happiness.” Those who have seen the performance readily admit that the title is no misnomer. Number succeeds number and scene replaces scene without once giving the audience time to wriggle in their seats and lose the continuity of the thread of music and laughter that winds uninterruptedly_ through the performance. George Wallace is well to the fore, bearing the brunt of the laughter-making of the
evening, and Ella Shields in masculine costume gives some of those bright little ditties she handles so well. Excellent songs are given by the supporting members of the company. The ballet provides a picturesque background and the four Diabolos give another exhibition of their rhythmic, athletic and skilful dancing. “Hello, Happiness” will he presented for the last time to-morrow night. On Friday a new revue, entitled “ Whoopee Nights,” will be presented.
