Appellants were E. Montague, owner of Chief Cook, the trainer, P. W. Scally, and the jockey. I Jenkins. On the ground that the horse was not run on his merits in the Waihou Handicap on February 25, the judical committee of the Te Aroha Jockey Club disqualified each for six months.
