A grand concert was held in the West Spreydon Schoolroom last evening to aid the funds of the ice-cream and soft drinks stall in connection with the Spreydon Public Library’s carnival to be held next Saturday afternoon in the Barrington Street domain. Mrs Thompson and assistants were responsible for the organisation of the function and Mr S. Clarke was stage manager. A lone and varied programme was presented, including musical items, acrobatic dancing, humorous items and operatic dances.
