Results:— Championship Singles—First life: .Mrs Mercer (Greymouth) beat Mrs Tennent (Greymouth), 26-12; Mrs Gilbert (Westport) beat Mrs Gillespie (Westport), 26-22. Semi-final: Mrs Gilbert (Westport) beat Mrs Nottle (Westport), 26-3 0. Second life: Mrs Warnes (Greymouth) won by default from Mrs A. Smith (Greymouth): Mrs Gilbert (Westport) beat Miss Hambleton (Greymouth). 26-22: Mrs Gilbert (Westport) beat Mrs Warnes (Greymouth), 26-3: Mrs Mercer (Greymouth) beat Mrs Al’Kay (Greymouth), 26-24. Handicap Singles—First round: Mrs Coburn (Greymouth), 7 bisques, beat Mrs Farr (Westport), 8 bisques, 26-14; Mrs Davies (Greymouth) beat Mrs Rose (Runanga), 26-13; Mrs Wicken (Reefton) beat Mrs Reynolds (Greymouth), Championship Doubles-—First round, second life: Mesdames Orsbourn and Wicken (Reefton) beat Mrs Allan Smith and Miss Hambleton (Greymouth), 26-19.
