PAINTING DISPLAY.

Rata’s Leaguers’ collection of valentine cards at present on display in the windows of Hay’s, Ltd., are a constant centre of admiration and interest. The children entered thoroughly into the spirit of the observance and their artistic blending of colour and ingenious finishing methods are interesting. The work was executed unsupervised and is typical of the high degree of artistic endeavour that is forwarded weekly to the children’s department of the “ Times.”
