Youth Sent to Borstal for Twelve Months. William Clarence Carroll, a labourer, aged twenty-one years, of Templeton, was sentenced to twelve months’ detention in the Borstal Institution by Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., this morning for stealing a cheque for £5 ISs 2d belonging to John M’Gillivray.
