ENGLISH PARK.

Another Good Programme for Saturday. Another sports meeting will be held at English. Park on Saturday night, when a better programme than ever will be presented. The events to be decided consist of cycle races, motor-paced racing, motor-cycle races, side-car lacing and running. George Urry, tlie brilliant motor-cyclist who lias ridden splendidly during the past few weeks, has been challenged by Ron Wilkins to a three-laps motor-cycle race with a rolling start. This event will* he staged during the meeting. This race promises to be a real thriller. A side-car race, which is absolutely new to the track, will be introduced. Motor-paced racing, a form of racing which takes on with the public, will again take place, six riders having nominated for the threemile event. The three-mile scratch race promises to be a repetition of Tuesday’s brilliant race in which Ron Weir was defeated by Len Hill by the narrowist of margins. The events to be decided are as follows:—Quarter-mile cycle handicap, one mile cy'cle handicap, threemile scratch race, three-mile motor-paced race, four-lap motor-cycle race, four-lap side-car race, 100 yards and SSO yards fiat handicaps. The nominations fm* the events close to-night with Mr P. C. Lucas.
