French Workers Annoyed at Budget Economies. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, January 16. The latest complication in the financial situation is that the two great Syndicates representing the civil service and postal workers, have broken off negotiations with the Government on the Budget economy proposals. M. Boncour had hoped to placate the Syndicates by discussing the proposals before they were submitted to Parliament. Instead he has antagonised a large body of the public which resents trimming the Budget proposals in order to secure the support of particular groups.
