OBITUARY
William Kennedy. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 16. The death occurred in Wellington Hospital of Mr William Kennedy, of Brooklyn, aged eighty-five years. The late Mr Kennedy was born in Paisley, Scotland, and came to New Zealand fift>'-three years ago, setting up business as a blacksmith at Pleasant Point. South Canterbury, where he lived for many years. He leaves a son, Mr David Kennedy, of Brooklyn, formerly of Timaru.
