Keenly Contested Games at Dominion Fixture. Per Press I -soclatlon. WELLINGTON. January 16. Some keenly-contested games were played at the Dominion croquet tournament at Lower Hutt and Petone to-day. The weather continues good and the greens are in excellent condition. Results of the play are as follow: Championship Doubles. First Round. A. G. F. Ross and Mrs Caldow beat Mesdames Jarvie and Brass, 26-20. Mrs Williamson and Miss Bell beat Mesdames Bock and Lowery, 26-17. Women's Championship. First Life, First Round. Mrs Gamble beat Mrs Jobson, 26-4. Mrs Keys beat Mrs Acheson, 26-17. Mrs Savage beat Mrs Kibblewhite, 26-21. Mrs Boocock beat Mrs Simpson, 26-16. Mrs Tiffen beat Mrs Mouat, 26-21. Mrs Jarvie beat Mrs Hogan, 26-11. Xandioap Doubles. Semi-final. Mesdames Tingey and Clark (5) beat Mesdames Gilbert and Nottle (65), 26-23. j
