The tender of British Pavements Limited for the reconstruction and maintenance of Bowhill Road and Rookwood Avenue was accepted by the New Brighton Borough Council last evening. The contract is accepted subject to the company agreeing to certain alterations to the specifications. The contract price was £ISOO, and the work will take six weeks to complete. When the w ork is completed the North Beach trolley bus route will be bituminised from the North Beach Peace Memorial Hall to Racecourse Road.
